EC-220 sewage and lagoon treatment is formulated for use in treating wastewater containing high levels of grease, fats and oil. EC-220 loosens and liquefies heavy grease deposits and accelerates natural biodegradation.

EC-220 is effective in degrading extra cellular polymers, (which cause foaming), and suppressing the growth of the filamentous organisms by affecting the structure of the filaments.

d) Does not contain marine pollutants as defined in 49 CFR 171.8.

CASE HISTORY
1500 cubic feet of grease had accumulated in the scum pit and 35 cubic feet was being added each week. Disposal involved manual removal for transporting to a landfill. A month after adding EC-220, operators began to notice subtle improvements in floc formation and in the biological community as a whole. The 1500 cubic feet of grease was degraded in two months.
